Michelle North Scholarship for Safety in memory of Michelle North is fully sponsored by Helicopter Foundation International. The scholarship is awarded in safety and safety education and training in helicopter operations. The scholarship provides for full tuition to attend the HFI Safety Management course at HELI-EXPO 2014 in Anaheim, California. Also includes a full registration to HELI-EXPO 2014, and dinner for two at the Salute to Excellence Awards dinner courtesy of Helicopter Association International.Description
This scholarship was founded in memory of Helicopter Foundation InternationalMichelle North, a long-time industry advocate of safety, to encourage a stronger focus on safety and safety education and training in helicopter operations.As the aircraft industry becomes ever more sophisticated, the requirement for highly skilled pilots and maintenance technicians becomes more and more critical. HFI is offering an array of scholarships to answer the need for both qualified helicopter pilots and maintenance technicians, and to provide further training for safety managers and other professionals in the safety field.
Eligibility
All applicants must already be working in the helicopter industry, either in the safety or safety management field or already preparing to enter the safety or safety management field.
