UTAR – Tan Sri (DR) Lim Goh Tong Scholarship

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) has a special scholarship scheme to cater to applicants with outstanding academic performance to pursue the bachelor programmes and foundation programmes of study.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizen of Malaysia
Financially needy
Currently enrolled in Foundation/undergraduate degree programme at UTAR and not on deferment, suspension or any other leave of absence.
Good Academic results
UTAR Undergraduate Programme

STPM/ A-Levels or equivalent: 4A’s, or

UEC or equivalent: 9A’s, or

Canadian Pre-University : 95% for all subjects with minimum of 6 subjects, or

South Australian Matriculation: A’s for all subjects with a minimum of 5 subjects, or

Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman Diploma or equivalent: CGPA of 3.8000 and above, or

UTAR Foundation Programmes: CGPA of 3.8000 and above

UTAR Foundation Programme

SPM 7A’s: 50% tuition fee scholarship

SPM 8A’s: 75% tuition fee scholarship

SPM 9A’s & above: 100% tuition fee scholarship

Good leadership or extra-curricular activities

How To Apply

Obtain UTAR – TAN SRI (DR) LIM GOH TONG SCHOLASHIP APPLICATION FORM.

COMPLETE the application form in full. ALL supporting documents as stipulated in the instructions must be attached.
Submit completed application form not later than the closing date to Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarships (DEAS).
Kindly refer to the Criteria for selection.
