The BucHero Scholarship is intended to assist out-of-state veterans who do not qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Scholarship with the cost of out-of-state tuition.Description
The scholarship is renewable for three additional years for undergraduates by maintaining an overall GPA of at least 2.5 and passing a minimum of 12 credits per semester. The scholarship is renewable for up to two years for master’s degree students by maintaining an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and passing a minimum of 9 credits per semester. The scholarship is renewable for up to five years for educational specialists and doctoral students by maintaining an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and passing a minimum of 9 credits per semester.
Eligibility
To be eligible the applicant must have served (or be currently serving) as a member of the Guard, Reserves, or Active Duty, and released from the military under “Honorable” conditions. Applicants must provide a copy of form DD-214 (Discharge from Active Duty). Applicants who have more than one DD214 must provide the most recent copy
