The BECU Foundation recognizes and awards outstanding service by graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students in community service. Scholarships are awarded based on a student’s academic achievements, leadership abilities, and passion for helping others.
Since 1995, with the help of our business partners, member donations, and through fundraising activities, BECU has awarded more than $1.2 million dollars in scholarships to more than 580 student members.

Eligibility
- Only BECU members may apply. Accounts must be in the name of the applicant.
- Applicants must be students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Students must be a graduating high school senior or a full-time undergraduate
- All scholarship recipients must attend college full time. Post-graduate, Masters or Doctorate candidates are not eligible to apply.
- Previous recipients may not apply for additional scholarships
Application Procedure
Applications are accepted January 1-March each year. The link to apply becomes available January 1. Applications are accepted online and processed by our partner International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. Select the Apply Now link below to begin your online application. You will be required to set up a profile on their website in order to start your application. If you do not complete your application, you can return at any time to complete it. All information contained in your profile and scholarship application is secure and will not be used for any purpose other than to process your application.
