Miss Entrepreneur Africa (MENAF) competition 2013



Ms Entrepreneur Africa (MENAF) an empowerment, Pan-African initiative is in search of married or single African women between the ages of 18 to 30 with viable entrepreneurial business plan that will create employment and contribute to the economic development and eradication of poverty in the continent. MENAF is not a beauty pageant, it is not about shape nor height. It is an entrepreneurial competition for young African women who dream to own their own businesses. Ms Entrepreneur Africa (MENAF) will be held in Lagos Nigeria on the 11th of July 2013. Our goal is to create a platform to discover, groom and empower young Nigerian and African women as entrepreneurs, employers of labour, role models by imbibing the culture of self-employment and self sustainability amongst young women in our communities. MENAF will also foster cultural gender integration in Africa. Contestants from all over Africa are expected to jostle for the crown. Registration and sales of forms have begun and ends 27th May.

MENAF is slated for July 11, 2013 in Lagos Nigeria.MENAF is Organized by Entertainment Konzult Ltd and Women In Africa Forum.

BRIEF ABOUT ORGANIZERS OF MENAF——
Entertainment konzult ltd Trademark owners of MENAF (Is an events/promotions company based in Lagos Nigeria). Women In Africa Forum a renowned platform where women business leaders, technocrats, entrepreneurs etc come together annually to brainstorm on issues affecting women in Africa. WIA is founded by the Vice President of MENAF Sarah Mercer.

WHAT WE STAND FOR
Our goal is to raise the next generation of women billionaires and change the economic gender imbalance in Africa through our platform by discovering, grooming and empowering young African women as entrepreneurs.
The winner of the competition will go home with a cash prize of $12,000.00 as startup capital for her business, while the first and second runners up will be rewarded with $6,000.00 and $3,000.00 respectively. All the trio will equally undergo an entrepreneurial online course each in a world class school of entrepreneurial studies.
