A scientist believes that man should be free to think and to solve problems. The belief make the scientist to devote considerable time and energy to solve his science problems.
While searching for truth, he acquires a set of attributes usually called scientific attitude. Through painstaking exercises, he acquire a set of attitude which includes:
* Longing to know. The urge to dig deep into the cause of events.
Willingness to invest time and energy into finding truth not easily bored.
* Perseverance. Ability to endure the hazard frustration and thinking demands of finding truth.
* Honesty. Reporting observation accurately, abhors falsification of information.
* Open Mindedness. Approaching issues, objectives and events with-holding or without prejudice.
* Suspending Judgement. Until available information are convincing.
* Objectivity: Belief in What is not what it ought to be.
* Others. Rarely engaging in fruitless arguments. Believes in issues not personality.


The acquisition of scientific attitudes takes some time to mature. However, its acquisition will enable you to become an effective and functional citizens in your community. The modern age require citizens to have some basic knowledge and skills in science so as to function.

Career Opportunity.

There are lots of career opportunities in science. You can become a botanist, biochemist, chemist, medical doctor, agriculturist, animal doctor, engineer, pharmacists etc.

The Scientific Process.

Science is doing, finding out, or seeking for evidence to explain observed events. Doing something requires some skills. Have you ever used a sewing machine?
Try your feet on the pedal. Did you find it easy to drive the wheel? If not you certainly need the skills to do so. Doing science experiments requires some skills.
