DescriptionSchwarzkopf & Henkel is currently offering the a scholarship award of Smooth ‘N Shine® Cosmetology Scholarship to current high school seniors or high school graduates. Eleven applicants will be chosen to receive Cosmetology Scholarship - one will win a grand prize scholarship of up to $25,000, and ten will win $1,000 scholarships.
Eligibility
- Applicant must hold a high school diploma, GED, or be a senior in high school to apply (proof required).
- Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from current/former employers and/or current/former instructors/teachers.
- Applicant must submit a 500 – 800 word typed essay (see below for topic).
- Applicant must be enrolled in or intend to enroll in a program resulting in a cosmetology (hairstyling) license.
Application Procedure
Applications must include proof of high school graduation (diploma, GED certificate, or current high school transcripts), the aforementioned two letters of recommendation, and an essay on: Describe the qualities you possess that will make you “shine” in cosmetology school, and how this degree will help you “shine” in your career.
