2013 International Research Scholarship, Australia

The International Scholarship Research is currently offered by The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to Postgraduate Research (PhD) Scholarship for International and Australian Students in Real-time Soft Tissue Characterization and Modelling at RMIT University in Australia 2013.

Description
The International Research Scholarship provider, The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, are now investigating the issues associated with soft tissue characterization and modelling for surgery simulation and robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. This research project is funded by the ARC Discovery program.

The successful applicants of this international research scholarship will be awarded the scholarship is valued at $25,000 per annum.

Eligibility
The international research scholarship requires the condition that should be meet by applicants:
    International Research Scholarship
  • be an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident or an international student
  • have a high level honours degree in aerospace, mechanical/manufacturing/materials engineering, computational engineering, mathematics, computer science, biomechanics or related science discipline and equivalent industrial experience
  • have excellent written and communication skills
  • be able to commence full time in semester 1 2013 enrol in a postgraduate research (PhD) degree within the School of Aerospace, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering at RMIT.
