Elks National Foundation yearly established a demanding competition for all high school seniors to be granted a high amount of fund from the foundation.

This competition program consists of 500 four-year scholarships, ranging from $1,000 per year to $15,000 per year, for graduating high school seniors based on financial need, leadership and scholarship. The winners of this competion will recieve award based on the following distribution:

- First Place $60,000
- Second Place $40,000
- Third Place $20,000
- Fourth Place $16,000
- Fifth Place $12,000
- Sixth Place $10,000
- Seventh Place $8,000
- Runners Up $4,000

Eligibility
- Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.
- Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.
- College students are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
- Male and female students compete separately.
Application Procedure
Applications must advance through local, district and state competitions to reach national judging. The Chicago office of the Elks National Foundation will notify the 500 national finalists by email in early March 2013. To be eligible for an award, national finalists will be required to submit a secondary application online. The national finalists will also be required to mail their Student Aid Report to the ENF.
