Strayer University offers two scholarships to qualifying students. A limited number of scholarships exist. Students who reside and/or take classes in the state of Kentucky 1 or Ohio 1 are not eligible for these scholarships. Scholarship funds will not be disbursed until the student provides the required paperwork to confirm eligibility. Scholarships are applied as a reduction to tuition 4 and are not refundable in cash. Tuition will be reduced in week eight of class as long as the student meets all eligibility requirements, and the student must maintain eligibility through the end of the term of study or the scholarship will be forfeited. Academic Readiness Scholarship (Bachelor’s degree). Value: $1,000 ($500 in first term; $500 in second term)
Eligibility
- Be a New or Readmit student registering for a Bachelor’s program 2
- Meet all Strayer University admissions requirements
- Have at least 27 transfer credits approved to transfer into a Strayer University program of study or have a combined total of 27 earned hours as a Readmit student
- Be in good financial standing ($0 past due balance at time of enrollment)
- Complete two (2) or more courses in any Bachelor’s program in each term 3
- Complete two (2) consecutive terms of study. The scholarship must be used in two (2) consecutive terms or is forfeited.
- Have a method of payment other than military tuition assistance or Veteran’s Administration benefits. Students fully funded by military tuition assistance or VA benefits are not eligible as military benefits are first applied to tuition costs.

- Have one of the following: A 3.0 CGPA on undergraduate course work (3.25 JWMI); A degree from any Strayer University program; Two (2) previously completed graduate courses with a CGPA of 3.0 (3.25 for JWMI); or A previously completed Master’s degree or higher
- Be in good financial standing with the University ($0 past due balance)
- Complete one (1) course in any Master's program in each term 3
- Complete two (2) consecutive terms of study. The scholarship must be used in two (2) consecutive terms or is forfeited.
