CIAPS Commonwealth Scholarship is currently available for 2013 entry. The scholarship is targeted for Commonwealth citizens or the residents in a developing Commonwealth country. Each of the selected candidate will receive 5,000GBP (8,000USD) for his or her tuition fees at CIAPS for the duration of the recipient’s one-year postgraduate study.Description
CIAPS is pleased to announce the establishment of these awards, as part of the CIAPS Scholars schemes for 2013-2014 entry. We are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, learning and understanding in the service of society. We look for students who are pursuing higher learning so that they can play a part in making their societies and the world a better place.
The CIAPS Commonwealth Scholarships are part of the new CIAPS Scholars Scholarship programmes, which will directly benefit students entering postgraduate education in 2013-14. There are a total of eight scholarships available, worth a total of 40,000GBP (65,000USD).
Eligibility
All applicants of the CIAPS Commonwealth Scholarship should meet the condition below:
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class standard, or higher qualification.
- A lower qualification but with sufficient relevant experience.
- Have been offered and accepted his or her offer of a place at CIAPS, 2013 entry.
- Be Commonwealth citizens or be residents in a developing Commonwealth country.
- Refugees or people working with organizations linked with developing Commonwealth countries are also considered.
Application Procedure
- Step 1: Complete the CIAPS Scholarship Application Form online.
- Step 2: Carefully compose your Supporting Statement (remember the 1000 word limit).
- Step 3: Email your carefully composed Supporting Statement to scholarship@ciaps.org in Word or PDF format from the email address on your scholarship application form.
