City Masters Scholarships from Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS)

The City Masters Scholarships is targeted for executive City Managers. The IGLUS Executive Master is designed to empower city managers and cities to develop and implement more innovative governance solutions, so as to improve the competitiveness of cities, their sustainability, as well as the quality of life in Large Urban Systems more generally.

The IGLUS Executive Masters Scholarships are designed to empower city managers and cities to developimages (1) and implement more innovative governance solutions, so as to improve the competitiveness of cities, their sustainability, as well as the quality of life in Large Urban Systems more generally. To facilitate the presence of experts from cities in this unique learning experience, we are offering a limited number of IGLUS scholarships to high-potential city-nominated candidates. They should be working in a management capacity (e.g., city managers) and already have a Masters degree and at least five years of professional experience. The program can be taken in Turkey (Istanbul), Mexico(Guadalajara), Korea(Seoul), USA(Detroit) and the Emirates.

Eligibility

• every city in the world with more than 300,000 inhabitants is eligible to apply.
• should be working in a management capacity (e.g., city managers).
• already have a Masters degree and at least five years of professional experience.
