
Description
Since inception, the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) has provided more than $8 million in scholarship funds to deserving students preparing to enter various business professions. For fiscal year 2009 alone, NABA awarded close to $500,000 and the amount continues to grow annually. Through the generous contributions of individuals, groups, and organizations that share NABA's desire to break through the economic barriers minorities often experience, NABA has offered between 40 - 70 national scholarships annually ranging from $1000 - $5,000.

- NABA Member Scholarship Awards (multiple) $1,000 - $3,000
Eligibility
- Be an ethnic minority.
- Be currently enrolled at a four-year United States college or university as a full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent), undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-year senior accounting, finance, or business major or be a full-time graduate student (9 semester hours or equivalent) enrolled or accepted into a master's-level business program. Current high school students are not eligible.
- Meet a minimum grade point average.
Application Procedure
- The 2013 NABA National Scholarship Application (NSA) is now an online process. Only official transcripts and Letters of Recommendation will be accepted via mail. The application must be completed between January 1 and 11:59pm on January 31, 2013. Paper applications will no longer be accepted.
