Alexandria Scholarship now awards over $380,000 to 169 seniors in the T.C. Williams. The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria has been established since 1986. It has provided financial aid advising to thousands of Alexandria students and their families and awarded scholarships with a total value over $9 million to more than 3,700 deserving T.C.

The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria is a cooperative effort between Alexandria citizens and the Alexandria City Public Schools to assure financial help for Alexandria students who want to pursue college, career or technical education after high school.The Fund offers financial aid counseling and 'last dollar' scholarships to help fill the gap when all other sources of financial aid have been exhausted.The Fund also oversees commemorative 'donor-named' scholarships established to honor individuals, businesses or community organizations. Each named scholarship is governed by a separate set of criteria determined by the Fund and the donor.

Graduating seniors from the T.C. Williams High School Class of 2012 who plan to enroll full time (minimum 15 credits per semester) in an accredited college, career or technical school.

Application Procedure
You should provide the following documents:
- Personal Statements: Your statements are a very important part of this application. All applications are read in the blind, so all the selection committee knows about you is whatever you put in your application.
- Recommendations: Even though you may have an existing letter of recommendation, you must provide two recommendations using the SFA form. The signed request for a recommendation must be provided no later than February 1. Give them a copy of your résumé to assist their memory. The completed recommendation forms must be delivered to us by February 15.
- Transcripts & Test Scores: Print, fill in and sign the Records Request. Give the form to the TCW Transcript Clerk (Room A119).
