Tasmania University Scholarship in Orchestral String Instruments, Australia

There 20 scholarships are currently offered for outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students at UTAS.The award is worth up to $4,000 for three years.
Description
The Vice-Chancellor at UTAS has initiated generous support for students studying at the Conservatorium of Music through establishing 20 scholarships for talented orchestral string players.

Benefits: Total offer is of Course fees plus up to $4,000 per year.

Eligibility

• Available to string players commencing or re-enrolling in an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart.
• To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Distinction result in all units studied each semester.

Submission Deadline
-16 December 2012 for students commencing in Semester 1, 2013
-30 June 2013 for students commencing in Semester 2, 2013.
